Son of Sardar Mahinder Pal Singh, the first ever Sikh Cricketer in Pakistan

mahinder singh pakistani cricketerPakistan Cricket Board has announced the first ever cricketer from the Sikh community, Mahinder Pal Singh; although, no member of Sikh Community has not been able to make a name in Pakistan’s greatest passion until this Son of Sardar.

Despite of all the controversies surrounding the in many sports including deprivation of international sports at home grounds and altercations with rival cricketing boards, cricket is known as most love game in Pakistan because cricket maintained its grasp in the minds and hearts of the Pakistanis.

More important, the popularity of games has not been confined with the majority of the Muslims, as country has enjoyed large number of Hindu and Christians who have represented their country at international and national level but there is no member from the Sikh community is added in every game that is played in Pakistan.

Now, Pakistan Cricket Board has announced the name of first ever cricketer from Sikh Community which is Mahinder Pal Singh, a resident from the Nankana  Sahib so he is first person from his its community who is making his place in the National Cricket Academy; he expressed his heartiest feeling and feeling proud to be part of National Cricket Academy.

Son of Sardar is also part of top 30 emerging cricketers of PCB; moreover, he wished to be the part of Pakistan National Cricket Team to make his country in the coming future; more about, he also thanked PCB Chairman and his coaches for giving him opportunity and trusting his abilities because Mahinder Pal Singh is the 8th non-Muslim and only Sikh athlete to represent the in Cricket.
