Baghdad Market Blast killed at least 28 Iraqis and dozens wounded

Two suicide bombers headed to the busy Al-Sinek market area of Central Baghdad on Saturday that killed 28 people while the injured peoples are in dozens, the double bombing in the crowded area claimed by Islamic State of Iraq and Levant (ISIL).

At least 28 people died in the Saturday Al-Sinek Market area blast in Central Baghdad when two suicide bombers that directed by Islamic State of Iraq and Levant (ISIL) entered in the busy crowd and detonated their suicide vests. The double bombing in Baghdad’s market injured dozens of people latterly confirmed as 53.

According to the Interior Ministry official, the double bombing attack’s responsibility claimed by Islamic State of Iraq and Syria via its propaganda agency Amaq as responsibility claimed quote wrote on Amaq’s website. First suicide bomber detonated his suicide vest at the point of entrance of market while the second blast occurred inside the market that killed at least 28 people along with 53 injured.

These attacks are believed to be link with fighting in northern city of Mosul because Iraq’s Government forces are attempting to expel the ISIS jihadist from the second largest Iraq’s city area where militants have stronghold.

The targeted area of Baghdad packed with workshops, shops and the market is well known as wholesale market where the roads usually teeming with trucks and other vans to import and export goods. Two suicide bombers takes advantage of it and exposed their bombs that killed many of the people from the spare parts shops and those who were gathered near the breakfast selling cart.
