PSL 2017: Carlos Brathwaite & Dwayne Bravo to miss the 2nd season

Pakistan Super league 2017 has to stream live on 9 February from the ground of United Arab Emirates. The replacement draft held on Monday to refill their picks after ruling out Dwayne Bravo, Alex Hales and Carlos Brathwaite.

Pakistan Super League 2017 is commonly known as HBL PSL 2017 because the HBL is the official sponsor of T20 cricket league franchise. Dwayne Bravo and Brathwaite is believed to be much prominent player of the league but due to certain issue the franchise held replacement draft to refill the overseas.

The WICB made it necessary for the West Indies Players to take part in the domestic one-day competition to earn a national call-up which continues till 18 February due to which Bravo and Brathwaite has to skip the Pakistan Super League event in United Arab Emirates.

England Player Alex Hales will not be the part of PSL 2017 while Shakib Al Hasan, Tamim Iqbal from Bangladesh and Eoin Morgan who is the captain of the T20 format will be partially available in the event.

The Rule for PSL is defined that each team must have five overseas players in their squad therefore, the replacement draft held on Monday.

Total of five teams are contributing the second season of Pakistan Super League, here are some changes in result of replacement draft.

Karachi Kings: All picked players retained.

Islamabad United: Andre Russel (Stand-by Player) replaced with Steven Finn

Lahore Qalandars: James Franklin for Anton Davcich, Jason Roy for Dwayne Bravo, Chris Green for Shaun Tait, three replacements.

Quetta Gladiators: Moen Ali for Carlos Brathwaite, Rilee Rossouw for Mohammad Nabi, Nathan McCullum for David Willey, Thisara Perera for Rovman Powell, four replacements.

Peshawar Zalmi: Tillakaratne Dilshan for Shakib Al Hasan, Marlon Samuels for Alex Hales, Andre Fletcher for Mohammad Shahzad, three replacements.
