Najam Sethi to Face Imran Khan over Corruption in PSL

Former Pakistan Cricket Captain Imran Khan has targeted the Pakistan Super League Chairman Najam Sethi by sharing that the person who himself allegedly involved in election rigging in 2013 have to eliminate spot fixing in HBL PSL.

The Government opposition party Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Imran Khan has slammed Pakistan Super League Chairman Najam Sethi over the corruption allegation in PSL. Corruption in any field damaged the roots of it, as spot-fixing harms the cricket just like cricket the corruption in political ground damaged the democracy of a country.

Captain mentioned the name of Najam Sethi as “Election Fixer Sethi” to share that, now the fixer’s has to eliminate the spot-fixing from Pakistan Super League that is running in UAE.

 

The remarks of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader has shaken the cricket world which came just after two players of PSL 2016 winner team Islamabad United caught and suspended for having corruption charges. The probe over spot-fixing unveil the names of more players but the identity of those has yet not been disclosed.

As far as election corruption is concerned, the PTI chief had accused Najam Sethi in 2015 for fixing “35 punctures”, the term “35-punctures actually referred to electoral rigging of 2013 in 35 constitutions of Punjab.

Later, Khan has brushed his allegation and termed it as “Political Statement”.
