More than a dozen of International cricketers and official are present in Lahore’s Gaddafi stadium to play the eliminators of HBL PSL 3. The first eliminator was played on Tuesday between Quetta Gladiators, the two times finalist, and Peshawar Zalmi who is defending their title.

Tamim Iqbal from Bangladesh, Liam Dawson from England, Andre Fletcher and Daren Sammy from WestIndies represent Peshawar Zalmi. Chris Jordan and Rikki Wasseles were reserved international players from Peshawar.

From Quetta Gladiators, Srilankan allrounder Thisara Perera, Rilee Rossouw from South Africa, Mahmoodulllah Riyad of Bangladesh and Tom Kohler Cadmore from England were on the field of Gaddafi Stadium. Australian Chris Green was also there in the stadium as a substitute player.

Quetta Gladiators has lost the match by only one run on the last ball in a thrilling match and after the match, the foreign players Quetta are ready to fly back to Dubai.

More overseas players will play at Gaddafi Stadium today in the second eliminator between Peshawar Zalmi and Karachi Kings.

The commentators and other officials visited different areas of Lahore and they had Paratha Omelette in the breakfast from a local “Dhabba”.

Security arrangements are perfect and the people of Pakistan welcomed the International cricketers warmly. The stadium was sold out and it shows that cricket fans in Pakistan need HBL PSL and cricket back at home.

According to many analysts, this is the right time for the revival of cricket in Pakistan as 3 matches of PSL will be held in Pakistan. The final of HBL PSL 2018 will be played at Karachi.

After PSL, the WestIndian cricket team is also coming to Pakistan to play 3 International T20 matches. A few months ago World XI team also visited Pakistan and played 3 matches at Gaddafi Stadium Lahore.

Hopefully, in future, more teams will visit Pakistan and help the revival of cricket in Pakistan.
