Yesterday, around 8:45 am, the body of Sidhu Moosewala, 27, was transported from the Civil Hospital in Mansa mortuary to his home.

An Indian prisoner in Tihar Jail, Lawrence Bishnoi, and a Canadian mobster was known as Goldy Brar have both claimed responsibility for the killing.

Moosewala, on the other hand, was found dead with 24 bullet wounds to the chest and abdomen, according to a postmortem report. Attacked outside the Jawahar Ke village, roughly 10 kilometers from his house, he was also beaten on his head and thighs.

Shubhdeep Singh Sidhu, also known as Sidhu Moosewala, was born in Mansa’s Moosa village to a farmer’s family.

After graduating from Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College in Ludhiana in 2016, the 28-year-old traveled to Canada, where he released his first single in early 2017.

A retired government employee & farmer, Balkaur Singh, is Moosewala’s father, while his mother Charan Kaur is the local sarpanch. The margin of victory was 600 votes in her favor when the results were announced in December 2018.
