In a tragic incident that has sent shockwaves through Pakistan’s social media community, 17-year-old TikTok star Sana Yousuf was fatally shot in her home in Islamabad on June 2, 2025.
The incident occurred in the Sector G-13 area, under the jurisdiction of the Sumbal police station.
According to police reports, Sana, originally from Upper Chitral, was killed by an unidentified visitor who fired two shots before fleeing the scene. The young influencer, known for her engaging lifestyle and entertainment videos, had built a modest but dedicated following on TikTok and was reportedly expanding her presence across other digital platforms.
Authorities have launched a manhunt to apprehend the suspect, employing digital and forensic tools to aid the investigation.
Sana’s body was transferred to the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) for a postmortem examination. The motive behind the killing remains unclear, and no arrests have been made as of yet.
