In the heart of Lahore, the historic Wazir Khan Mosque is at the center of a scandal over the shoot of a music video. The video that is viral on social media has scenes related to Nikah, Song, and Dance. People from around the country are angry upon how the drama cast got permission to shoot the music video.

In this context, the latest advancement came from CM Punjab Usman Buzdar in which he stated that mosque is the holiest place in our religion. We won’t allow anyone who wants to trample upon its sanctity. He further added that we are running an investigation and will found whoever is responsible for this act.

CM Punjab also ordered a comprehensive investigation to look deeper into the issue and find out all the culprits. The issue made a place to the limelight when there was a video in social media having music, and dance and the caption claimed it is in Wazir Khan mosque.

When asked about the same from the Auqaf Division, they claimed that there was no bad scene in the recording. There was a simple Nikah, and our representative was there, and he didn’t report anything bad. The dance scene was recorded afterward in the courtyard of the mosque while the music seems edited.

Later, the singer of the music, Bilal Saeed, also issued an official apology on his Instagram account. He asked an apology from all Muslims whose religious sentiments got hurt. After this issue, the manager of the Mosque suspended by the authorities.
