Hair transplants have now taken over in the world of treating baldness, this process involves removing tiny plugs of hair from areas with normal hair growth and transplanting them in areas undergoing balding. This method is usually quite expensive and may cause some scarring and possible infections but the best thing about this treatment method is that when it is successful, it results in excellent and permanent hair growth in those regions.
Finasteride is a drug passed by the food and drugs board to be able to treat baldness, this drug is able to prevent the conversion of testosterone into DHTÂ Â which is known to cause hair baldness in men but usually takes about 3 months to show results.
